Spring is moving into northern Utah. We had a very wet snow storm yesterday. Temperatures are rising and the snow is melting, turning into slush. It’s also the time for dog sledding! As the Iditarod takes off in Alaska, local mushers gathered in the sinks area of Logan Canyon for the annual K9 Challenge. It was a lot of fun to watch the dogs race. It made me want to adopt a team of Huskies and build my own sled.

After the race, we did some of our own racing, but on our personal sleds. Afterwards, we grabbed some Raspberry Shakes and took a stroll on the snow covered beach. We ended the day by going to the last Utah State men’s basketball game, where we soundly defeated New Mexico State and claimed the Western Athletic Conference title for the third year in a row. Go Aggies!
